I’ve been thinking of buying this heavy-duty table-mounted sharpener lately, but every time I pass by any school and office supplies section – I always had these depressing words from the frowning sales attendants, ‘out of stock’. I call it one of my lucky days last week, I finally saw this at an SOS depo displayed on their shelf – though there’s always one available – those were the ones made with plastic and believe me just 10 full turns and you’ll find yourself crying with your hands shaking at the heavens – why? So there goes your money thrown at the bin.
This one is made of steel, I suspect it’ll last us for a year, I really hope so, I really hate the idea of buying everyweek this dang little manual machine and when I ask my kids where they’d put their sharpeners – they’ll look back at you coldly and say – ‘I forgot mom, I’m so sorry’, besides they’re not allowed to bring in sharpeners at school, they have to sharpen their pencils at home – I feel it’s just right, kids won’t be writing anymore, they’ll always have this excuse to sharpen their pencils at class – and how the teachers hate that, that speaking from experience, lol.
I guess this red sharpening baby will keep me sane, for how long? That would be an update on this blog in the coming days.

I so love this kind of sharpener. I have always dreamt of having one at home, but I only had the chance to get hold of pink and girly sharpeners. When I pass by the teachers’ lounge, I always had the urge to touch the manual sharpeners. LOL
looks sturdy naman and durable. just inform us if this will last long.
